Blog #16

     When people heard the word cowboy, they imaging rude and impulsive man. However in the essay About Men by Gretchen Ehrlich, she describes them having calloused hands and a sun-baked face. Her tone changes throughout the essay, it goes from sarcastic to warm and respecting. The stereotypical cowboy that we normally hear is not the actual cowboy. Her tone help us see the different when she tells stories about them.
